From the Beltway to Baltimore: Investing Across Maryland

MCIC’s Second Annual Summit | Friday, November 13, 2026 | 9:00–11:30 a.m. | Joe’s Movement Emporium, Mt. Rainier

Every Maryland community has a role to play in the state’s economic future, but communities across the state do not always have the same access to the relationships, capital, and tools needed to bring transformative real estate projects to life. MCIC’s second annual summit brings together community development leaders, nonprofit developers, lenders, investors, and public-sector partners to explore how we can grow the pie and expand opportunity across Maryland.

This year’s summit focuses on the DMV and the ways public, private, and community partners can work together to advance real estate projects that strengthen local economies and create opportunity for residents. Through conversations about the New Markets Tax Credit, equitable development, and the early-stage capital needed to move projects forward, we’ll explore what it takes to build a more robust community investment ecosystem across Maryland.
